I live in a 3 1/2 in NDG with my soon-to-be hubby, two cats and several plants. I'm half Swedish and half French-Canadian.
I love food/cooking/grocery shopping. I'm an Orthodox Christian since 2008. I have one sister who is 12 years younger than me that I finally get along with. My parents are alive and well and married and I go visit them in the country sometimes.
I work a 9-5 job in a calling center taking inbound calls, I've been there for almost 5 years now and it's pretty good, all things considered, I'm happy enough with it to keep working here another 5 years.
I want to have kids one day and teach them the beauty of love, nature, and the deliciousness of food.
I like reading (fiction mostly), but don't read as much as I used to. I don't watch a lot of movies. I rarely listen to music, I usually don't like the radio or top 40's style popular stuff. I might listen to some techno on Digitally Imported or some chanting on Ancient Faith Radio, but mostly nowadays it's just white noise/nature sounds on the Lightning Bug app on my Android phone. I like anime, was a member of an anime club in college. I'm currently watching Naruto Shippuden. I don't have a college degree, I dropped out to start working instead cause I've never been interested enough in any particular job/career to be motivated to go to school for it.
I like to blog but don't get to do it as often as I used to since I'm busier nowadays.

My last short-lived craze was HDRI. Now it's the opposite, Lomography ( http://www.photoservice.ca/ENGLISH/lomography.asp and http://www.lomography.com/ ).

I wish I could make an HDR out of more pictures, but as it is the process takes too long, what with having to fiddle around with the settings in Photomatix every time I want to make one. I found how to get rid of the watermarks when I read one of the comments on this blog http://blog.23x.net/7/beginners-guide-to-hdr.html#comment-165
The thing is though, I have to create and tonemap an hdr image and then save the settings every. single. time. I want to use the batch processing function. So it get annoying. But I guess I can't complain, I don't have watermarks.

HDR crazy

This whole HDR thing is driving me crazy finally. I can't save to .jpeg with Picturenaut, so I downloaded XnView to convert it. And I downloaded Qtpfsgui to create HDRI's and save to .jpeg as well. So I tested that out and it worked, but then when I created the HDR and tonemapped it in Qtpfsgui, using the same images (which took FOREVER, btw) and I don't know if I did something wrong (which I can't tell cause I have very little knowledge of how to use Qtpfsgui) or if it's Qtpfsgui that isn't worth anything, but when I tone-mapped the image it turned out all wrong compared to the one I did in Photomatix. I tried playing around with the colour
